Piedmont Electric announces two 2012 basketball camp scholarship opportunities for students entering sixth, seventh or eighth grades. Sponsored by North Carolina’s Touchstone Energy cooperatives, the basketball camp scholarships are to the Kellie Harper Wolfback Basketball Academy and the Roy Williams Carolina Basketball camp.
The Kellie Harper camp will be held in mid June, 2012 at N.C. State University in Raleigh, and the Roy Williams camp will be held June 16 – 20, 2012 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. All expenses for the camps will be paid for by Piedmont EMC. The deadline for students to apply to either camp is Friday, March 30, 2012.
