Crews Continue to Make Progress - 6,000+ Outages Restored

Piedmont Electric crews and crews from sister cooperatives and contractors are continuing to make on restoration efforts.  Our outage restoration has climbed to more than 6,000 as of 130 PM today.   Working with Piedmont Electric are more than 220 line workers coming from Jones – Onslow EMC, Lumbee River EMC, Four County EMC, Edgecombe Martin County EMC, Halifax EMC, Pitt & Green EMC, and Brunswick EMC plus crews from Pike, Lewis Tree, Lee Electric and XYLEM Tree Experts and Davey Tree.  We greatly appreciate their assistance as we make progress in restoring power to our members.  Crews are working to restore power to the more than 14,900 members who are still without power as the result of Friday’s ice storm. Please continue to view our Outage Viewer to stay informed of our restoration efforts.  We are working diligently to restore the remaining outages as quickly and safely as possible.  If you are without power and have not reported your outage, please call our Outage Reporting Number at 1.800.449.2667. If you would like to speak to someone in our office today, please call us 1.800.222.3107. Click here to learn about safety during  outages.
