Saturday, November 9, 2013 @ 8:30am – Customers in the Baynes and Efland areas in Orange and Alamance counties are experiencing a power outage due to a Duke Energy transmission line outage with our Buckhorn Substation. 2,384 customers are affected by this outage. Piedmont Electric is optimistic that power will be restored by 11am to those impacted by this outage.
