Info About Power Outage at Hyco Substation in Northern Person County

We are currently experiencing at outage in Northern Person County affecting over 900 members due to a buzzard that flew into a regulator at our Hyco Substation.  Crews have been on scene and estimate this repair will take up to 10 hours to repair.  Please be patient as we work as quickly and safely as possible to restore this power outage.  If you would like to speak to a Member Services Representative, call 1.800.222.3107.  If you are without power and have not reported it to Piedmont Electric, call our Outage Reporting Number at 1.800.449.2667.

Don’t Forget to Heed Food Safety: Is food in the refrigerator safe during a power outage? It should be safe as long as power is out no more than 4 hours.
