Piedmont Electric crews have just restored service to a Carrboro circuit restoring power to approximately 2,000 members. At this mornings peak we had 6,900 members out of power. At this time our outages are at 4,900 and continue to fall. Our linemen are working in all counties and will continue working until all outages are restored. Please use caution throughout today as trees will continue to fall resulting in extremely unsafe conditions including the possibility of additional outages.
