The National Weather Service is reporting a Winter Storm Watch for Caswell County from late Saturday night through late Sunday night. This could result in freezing rain, snow or sleet. Ice may accumulate on trees and power lines causing power outages. The Winter Storm Watch includes northwest North Carolina, southwestern Virginia and southeast West Virginia. There is a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Person, Alamance, Forsyth, Guilford, Davison and Randolph counties expected to develop Saturday night and continue into the day on Sunday with temperatures hovering near the freezing mark where a period of freezing rain will be possible Sunday morning.
