Help Support Your Community
Piedmont Electric’s Helping Hand Foundation helps support the needs of our local communities thanks to the generous support of our members who round up their bill monthly.
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the foundation has set aside funds to go towards energy assistance to help those in need. Please consider making a direct donation to our Helping Hand Foundation. Contributions, which are tax-deductible, will directly benefit those impacted in our community through energy assistance.
DONATING ON YOUR BILL: Members can make one-time or recurring monthly donations on their power bill in addition to our round-up option. Simply log on to your SmartHub account to enroll.
DONATING YOUR CAPITAL CREDIT: If you would like to donate your capital credit to the foundation to support energy assistance for those in need, please cash or deposit your capital credit and then you can donate online or by mail. Do not return your capital credit check to the co-op.
