Start, Stop or Move Service


At Piedmont Electric Cooperative, we are dedicated to providing you exceptional service at a good value. As a not-for-profit company, serving our members is our top priority. So get ready to be a part of the best electric utility you’ve ever known!

If you are moving into a residence with existing electric service, please click on the button below so we can help you set up your account. If you are establishing service at a location that does not have electric power in place, such as new construction, please contact us at 800.222.3107.

Important: If you require service within the next 2 days (excluding weekends and holidays), we ask you to contact us by phone. Also, if you are moving into an apartment, please make your request no more than two weeks before your move in date as your apartment number can change.

At the end of the application form you will have an opportunity to provide additional information about your request or to ask other questions regarding your new service. Please print out a copy of your completed application form for your records.

We’re sorry to see you go, but if you need to end your service with Piedmont Electric you can do it online through SmartHub using the link below. Once you click the link, select “Other Issues/General Inquiry” and then “Disconnect Service Request” from the dropdown menu. You can also give us a call at 800.222.3107.
