Like families and businesses across our community, your cooperative continues to face rising costs. As a not-for-profit electric cooperative, we carefully evaluate every expense to ensure we are using our members’ resources wisely. After extensive review, we have made the difficult decision to close our Caswell County branch office.
Over the past several decades, member interactions have increasingly shifted from in-person visits to phone, online and digital services, while transactions at the Caswell office have steadily declined. At the same time, the cost of operating and maintaining the facility has continued to rise.
Closing the office is part of our ongoing effort to control costs while maintaining the high level of service our members expect. By reducing building and operational expenses, we can better focus resources on serving members across our system and continue working to keep electric rates as affordable as possible.
While the Caswell office will close, our commitment to serving Caswell County remains as strong as ever. Members will continue to have access to assistance by phone, online and through our other office locations. Members can also use any Western Union or MoneyGram location to pay their bill in person.
We appreciate the support of our Caswell County members and look forward to continuing to serve your electric needs for years to come.
