Cook Up Savings This Thanksgiving

If You’re On Our Time-Of-Day Rate, Here’s One More Thing To Be Thankful For This November.

Thanksgiving Day is a designated off-peak holiday, which means every kilowatt-hour you use either cooking up a Thanksgiving feast or watching the big game, is billed at the low off-peak rate of just 6¢ per kWh.

During the winter rate season, on-peak hours normally run 6-10 a.m. on weekdays. But on Thanksgiving, those morning peak hours do not apply. From the first cup of coffee to the final round of leftovers, it’s all off-peak.

Off peak rates also apply every weekend and on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Not On the Time-Of-Day Rate Yet? Most hours of the day are already off-peak, and shifting just a little of your energy use away from peak hours can add up to real savings on your monthly bill.
