Among electric cooperatives, there is a time honored tradition of giving. From the dawn of the electric cooperative movement, it was all about neighbors helping neighbors. Piedmont Electric Cooperative established the Helping Hand Foundation as a way to give back to the communities in which we live and serve.
Timeline:
The Helping Hand Foundation board of directors meets four times a year on the dates below to discuss funding. If you are requesting funds, please ensure you complete the Charitable Request Form below well in advance of the meeting prior to your project, program or event. Any applications received after the deadline will automatically be considered at the following meeting. Meetings will be held on the second Wednesday in February, May, August and November unless noted otherwise below.
