This year, Lineworker Appreciation Day falls on April 13, and it’s a perfect time to thank our lineworkers for their dedication, skill and tireless service.
The Heart of Our Cooperative
Lineworkers are the backbone of our co-op. Every day they work to build, maintain and protect the electrical system that powers our homes, schools, farms and businesses. Whether it’s performing routine maintenance, upgrading equipment or restoring service after a storm, these professionals do the hard, often unseen work that keeps our community running.
Their job isn’t easy. It’s a career that takes tremendous skill, years of training and a commitment to safety.

We all see lineworkers at their best when the power is out and the weather is at its worst. When storm strikes and outages occur, our crews are among the first to respond by restoring power, ensuring safety and reassuring our members that help is on the way. These efforts often mean long hours and time away from family, yet our lineworkers consistently rise to the challenge with professionalism and heart.
