Is a time-of-day rate right for you?
With a time-of-day rate, you pay a lower rate for the energy you use during off-peak hours. Saturday, Sunday most holidays and 19-20 hours of every weekday are considered off-peak.
The average member saved more than $20 per month by switching to a time-of-day rate last year!
With the time-of-day rate, follow these tips to make the most of your energy dollars:
– Program your thermostat to avoid on-peak hours.
– Do laundry and dishes during off-peak hours and install a water heater timer.
– Charge your electric vehicle during off-peak hours.
SUMMER ON-PEAK

WINTER ON-PEAK
In the winter, shift your energy use in the morning away from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. to an earlier or later time.
