Voting instructions

Let your voice be heard

As a member-owned cooperative, you play a vital role in how Piedmont Electric operates. One of your opportunities as a member is to vote for our board of directors. Our board is made up of members like you who live in our neighborhoods and work to make the best decisions for our cooperative.

Two ways to vote

This year, voting is even easier with two ways to vote for the board of directors election:

ONLINE

Visit directvote.net/pemc on your computer, tablet or phone and use the login information provided on the postcard in the center of the April Carolina Country magazine to cast your vote. If we had your email address on file as of 2.25.2019, you will also receive an email with your login information for voting online.

MAIL-IN

Complete and mail in the prepaid ballot postcard included in the center of the April Carolina Country magazine delivered to each member’s mailing address.

There will be no voting at the annual meeting at Orange High School on April 12.

Members who vote will be entered into a drawing to win one of two, $100 bill credits.

Online voting beings March 25 and ends at 2:00 pm on April 11. Postcards must be received by April 11.
