2/18 – 5:00 p.m.
Piedmont Electric continues to closely monitor the weather as a Winter Weather Advisory will remain in effect for our area through Friday morning. Should our service territory begin to experience widespread power outages, Piedmont Electric is prepared. In addition to our own, we have secured several crews from visiting co-ops and contractors who will remain on stand-by in our area ready to deploy if necessary.

We currently have 812 members without power. The large outage in north Granville County is due to a Duke Energy outage.
